The NH Research NHR 4760-1 DC Electronic Load is a high-precision device designed for a wide range of electronic testing applications. With a maximum current of 50A and a voltage range of 7.0 to 600V, this 1 kW load is ideal for testing battery packs, telecom rectifiers, and DC power supplies. The unit's linear, air-cooled architecture guarantees dependable performance, and its lightweight, 40 lbs, and small size of 133 x 483 x 559 mm make it a good option for automated test stations as well as standalone bench-top configurations.

For the purpose of assessing the dynamic performance of power conversion and storage products, the NHR 4760-1 is outfitted with sophisticated features that enable complex and quick-transient load profiles. Its capacity to hold up to 100-step Macros, which execute directly within the load, assuring the shortest possible transitions, allows it to generate a range of load profiles, including stepped responses and micro-second pulses. User engagement with the load is improved by the next-generation Graphic User Interface (GUI), which is based on a touch panel. This 7-inch display offers extensive real-time information and control over operating modes like constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR), and constant power (CP). Control and monitoring capabilities are arranged across six tabs. The scope function of the GUI makes engineering characterization and troubleshooting a breeze by enabling users to visually study voltage and current relationships.

The NHR 4760-1's precise internal measurements eliminate the need for external tools like oscilloscopes, power meters, and digital multimeters. Dynamic timing measures, including Rise-Time and Turn-On-Time, can be performed by the load, increasing testing throughput and lowering equipment costs. The NHR 4760-1's safety features include programmed limitations that guard against harm caused by operator or programming errors.
